Webshare Proxy Checker
Just pulled a list from your Webshare dashboard? Paste it here and confirm every proxy is alive before you run a job on it. Webshare exports its proxies as IP:port:username:password lines, which this checker reads directly, no reformatting needed. You'll see alive or dead status, latency, country, ISP, and datacenter-vs-residential type for each one. Free for 50 at a time, $5 one-time for a full list.

Test proxies against a specific target URL. Find out which ones actually work for scraping your target, not just which ones are alive. Detects WAF blocks (Cloudflare, DataDome, Akamai, Imperva, PerimeterX) and CAPTCHAs.

Frequently asked questions
What format does Webshare use, and does this checker read it?
Webshare exports proxies as IP:port:username:password. This checker reads that format directly, along with user:pass@ip:port and plain ip:port, so you can paste your Webshare list without editing it.
Should I test Webshare's rotating endpoint or the individual proxies?
You can test either. Paste the individual IP:port:user:pass lines to check each static proxy, or paste the rotating backbone endpoint to confirm it connects and see the exit IP it hands you.
Are Webshare's free proxies worth checking?
Webshare's free tier gives you a small set of datacenter proxies. They work for light use but are shared and easier to detect, so checking their speed and whether targets block them before a real job saves you time.
How do I test my whole Webshare list at once?
The free tier checks 50 per run. For a larger Webshare export, a one-time $5 unlock checks up to 5,000, or use npx proxychecker-dev yourlist.txt from the terminal.
