How do I test Oxylabs residential proxies?
Oxylabs residential uses a gateway endpoint (host:port) with a username that can encode country and session. Paste it as ip:port:user:pass and the check reports the exit IP assigned, confirming the gateway and any targeting parameters are working.
How do I test Oxylabs datacenter proxies?
Datacenter plans provide individual IPs. Paste them one per line with your auth and the checker validates each separately, reporting alive/dead, latency, and location for every IP.
My Oxylabs proxy connects but lands in the wrong country, why?
The country targeting is set in the gateway username. If the exit IP's country doesn't match what you intended, the parameter is likely misformatted. The checker's reported country makes this easy to spot and fix.
