How do I test Smartproxy residential proxies?
Smartproxy residential uses a gateway host and port with a username that encodes session type and optionally a country. Paste it as host:port:user:pass and the checker reports the exit IP and country, confirming your targeting parameters are set correctly.
How do I test Smartproxy datacenter proxies?
Datacenter plans give you a list of IPs. Paste them one per line with your credentials and each gets checked individually for alive status, latency, and exit location.
My Smartproxy exit country is wrong, what happened?
Country targeting in Smartproxy is encoded in the username. If the exit IP lands in the wrong country, the parameter syntax is off. The checker shows you the actual exit country so you can compare and fix the username format.
Can I bulk-check a large Smartproxy list?
The free tier checks 50 proxies per run. A $5 one-time pack covers 5,000 validations, and npx proxychecker-dev list.txt does the same from your terminal with CSV output.
